#Introduction: Hi, ham people! I've had my Technician license for less than a month. I decided to get it as a middle aged, invisibly disabled lady because running comms seems like an Apocalypse Skill I can manage. I'll be looking into ARES in the next few months, as well as the local club hams. At the moment, I have a starter Baofeng to unbox, and I want to learn at least some practical repair/building skills. I also spend a lot of time online, so I have a good excuse for a radio-centric alt.
