👏 I had to remind myself of this on tumblr recently when I made a post about what I think are a lot of plot holes in a book series that's very popular on there, and some brat left a comment that essentially said I was stupid for not "reading between the lines" to deduce the reasons for the plot holes (apparently they were mistaking "this doesn't make sense" with "this concept is insufficiently explained"). I started writing a snarky reply, then went to myself, "you know what," and just blocked them instead.
