As a b&w film shooter, #MonochromeMarch is not much of a challenge for me — that’s basically what I shoot all year anyway :)
But looking through the tag I noticed that almost everyone interprets monochrome as shades of grey.
Technically, monochrome simply means one colour. It doesn’t have to be black and white.
So here is my small experiment from a cemetery series shot with a tiny toy Kodak #Charmera
Maybe it’s worth stretching the idea of monochrome a little and thinking a bit outside the box
Wonderful journey into the realm of refined lines, should i say transcendental lines? :)
@kat_season Thank you for your kind words ❤️
@andre You are absolutely correct with your interpretation of monochrome, of course, but to simplify the event and produce results that will look good together I chose to focus on black and white.
I have no problem with people posting ANY monochrome work, but for the e-zine I will probably stick to choosing B&W.
I will continue to boost all monochrome work for the duration of the event.
Wow, such a cool effect! Love these pictures!
@Pilzfee Thanks a lot, Helma!
Well spoken. 👏 And great shots though!
@069.photos Thanks a million!
