@johnhattan @Spud_Coolzip I’ll explain finally. A couple years ago the controller for our driveway gate opener died. It was just controlling relays so I figured I could make my own with arduino. I had to fix something on it today. Works fine! My brother-in-law calls it ‘Russian home automation’.

@thomas_klopf @johnhattan @Spud_Coolzip I installed a couple ceiling lamps today. None of the breakers were labeled, so I had to take care of that before I could do anything else. Some did nothing and some of the lights wouldn’t go out until I flipped the main breaker. Mission accomplished, though. NOT TODAY, DEATH!

Nice to know that happens in Europe too. None of mine are. And I think this house was wired up by somebody who was drinking corn liquor so it'd be damn difficult to do.
