@heliomass Very nice write-up. Thank you! While I take the bike no matter the conditions, I agree very much with your assessment. Pedalling is also harder, because you have to push all the snow through your front fork :)

Regarding your last picture with the blocked REV St-Denis on the #PMR: It is quite revealing that of all admins, the #ProjetMontréal administration on the PMR fails consistently to provide mandatory detours and timely snow clearing. In my humble and completely biased opinion, they come in dead-last for sidewalk and also bike path clearing last winter (which, admittedly, was not an easy one!) for all the boroughs that I cross during my way to work (#VilleMarie, #CDN #NDG, and occasionally #Outremont ).
