It has been quite a week! We all need a timeline cleanse 🐰

This whimsical shallow terracotta bowl with a lively hare's head modelled onto its rim was perfect for holding libations, grains, or small offerings during #Greek rituals.
While its exact findespot is unknown, comparable pieces have been found in Tanagra burials.

@ninawillburger And here I thought Darmok and Jalad at Tanagra ( #StarTrek reference, sorry) was about a battle.

Turns out they had a pottery shop. 😉

Sci-fi nerdiness ahead

That's one of my favorite episodes of TNG

Although I kinda wish there was a similar one but with Hoshi, I can just see her getting angry/frustrated at herself for not quite understanding how their linguistics works.

Also reminds me of some episodes of Stargate SG1 (mainly the episode "fire and water" s01e13) which has some of that same vibe.

Can highly recommend Stargate (sg1,Atlantis) if you haven't already watched it

@erilun06 I love this episode too. Do you know about the band The Beverly Crushers? I love their song based on the episode.
