Watching movies has become part of my quiet time while grieving the loss of my mom. With heavy rain outside, I decided to watch Abigail.
Overall, the story is interesting and keeps you curious until the end. The movie doesn’t rely too much on drama, but it successfully creates a tense atmosphere. The horror elements feel real—the fear, the chaos, and especially the scenes with blood can be

quite shocking and sometimes even a bit disgusting. That intensity is what keeps the movie engaging.
One thing that stood out to me is the performance of Kathryn Newton. At times, her acting is strong and convincing, but in some moments it feels a little off, almost like the emotions are forced. That inconsistency was noticeable for me.
Still, the movie works well as a horror thriller. It’s entertaining, intense, and a good choice if you want something suspenseful to watch on a rainy night.
