This looks fun (not).

(reportedly debris issues at DXB)

This plane looks to be noping out... the other plane no longer visible, did not see it land and the position was off... (but could be GPS jamming and they landed and turned of ADSB). Either that, or bad stuff happened. Anyway... landing at an airport under attack is no bueno. #IranWar #aviation #DXB
I wonder what happened to UAE35Q. They were landing but their position was off runway, no more signal. But, GPS has been unreliable. John Wiseman's GPS website apparently has been getting scraped by everyone to figure out where stuff is cattywompus.... This seems like a bad place to be if you are a plane, still.

UAE13U and UAE93P seem to be making new plans. The people running around in circles look like they are packed in there... stacked up in the same circle.

Day 8 of US-Iran war: Dubai denies reports of incident at DXB (as of 2 hours ago, 3/7/26 7:04am GST... possible more stuff has fallen there).

Day 8 of US-Iran war: Dubai denies reports of incident at DXB

The conflict enters its second week with continued intensive exchanges of strikes between the US, Israel and Iran, while Gulf countries defend themselves against Iranian attacks

UAE93P has rerouted to DWC, instead of DXB, which is the next airport over in Dubai... definitely must have issues as of 3/7/26 0514UTC. Not going to watch it all night, but very interesting. Hope no civilian fatalities from that fiasco there. #aviation #DXB #IranWar
This ADSB receiver is pushing out all kinds of crap, either it's being jammed or it is deliberately spoofing. (probably jammed, someone's GPS jammer is throwing its position off significantly). #IranWar #aviation

@ai6yr So i looked them up They primarily service oil platforms. It may simply have turned off its ADSB transponder and is out of range of any hobbyist transponders. They may be given latitude to do so given its a war zone

It is super intermittent on ADSB Exchange https://globe.adsbexchange.com/?icao=06a384

If you pull up the area on overheads there are platforms out there.

I think this is just data drop out or bad data causing the chaos. I do not see it on the exchange. If it was jamming, then we would not be seeing the A380's etc lurking out there Iran does have EW capability but they would blanket the area vs jam a single contact

@ai6yr They may be spoofing ship data though Look at this floating bomb / LNG carrier that is doing 39 knots https://www.marinetraffic.com/en/ais/home/shipid:420313/zoom:11
@cvvhrn @ai6yr Good speed for an LNG carrier
@joesticker @ai6yr Right unless that is a Nimitz class spoofing its AIS

@cvvhrn @joesticker Wow, look at that location

How many ships can you (virtually) pack into the same location at the same time?

@ai6yr Also the irony of having the "Marawah marine Biosphere Reserve" right in the middle of man made oil terminals is well ironic
