And if that wasn't bad enough, Mozilla has embraced AI (in its code, too), while Linux considers relaxing AI code policy and has some examples of patches co-authored by LLMs.
I am still yet to think hard about what I want to do about it. But the world I knew is no more.

@xarvos @nina_kali_nina I've got a few, but my favorite one methodically explores reimplementing an entire web browser (JS-less) web browser, communication tools, file editors, etc complete with their underlying operating system & hardware.
I chose to design that underlying hardware specifically for reformatting text, & its proving to be a great fit for most of what we tend to use computers for!
