Paul Chambers🚧Ok #Flower #Gardeners, I have some mixed Crocus bulbs that are still "fresh" but have been in the fridge staying cold for a few months. What are the odds if I put them in the some pots they will bloom this year? #Blooms #GardeningMastodon #Garden #Gardening Any advise?

@paul If they don't bloom in the pots this year you can grow them on and put them in the ground in the fall and maybe get some blooms next year
@pitd I just replied something similar as your reply came in.
@paul in the ground this year they may not store enough energy for next year, so the pots are a better idea. You can keep them "green" (storing energy)easier in containers.
@pitd Sounds like a plan. We are doing some yard work and I would prefer to change my mind this fall where they should be should we get a wild hair and decide to deviate off from our plans. We are converting our small yard into a nearly no-mow meadow, flower garden, and raised bed vegetable garden "plaza."
