I rarely see movies these days but I'm pretty stoked about Maggie Gyllenhaal's upcoming film The Bride!, simply based on the fact that it's written/directed/produced by Gyllenhaal AND because it will have a couple tracks plus a cameo from Fever Ray, not to mention a score by Hildur Guðnadóttir.

Tickets have been procured for The Bride! later this week! I haven’t even watched a trailer for it, I’m treating it as a Fever Ray music video screening with a film around it, lol. Also, just realized it will be the first time going to a movie since the pandemic started, wtf.

Squeee!!! Music video for "The Lake" which gives me the one thing I was left wanting from the film, moar Fever Ray! There are only a couple short glimpses in the film of Fever Ray playing with a band in an underground club, but the music video has nearly a full 'performance' of the song. If you don't want to know anything about the movie before seeing it, maybe consider this to have spoilers since it has other key clips from the movie.

@brhfl i've been listening to it obsessively and went to the movie last night essentially only because of it, lol! unless my ears just weren't working, the other song in the single isn't in the film, it the first one they wrote and then were asked to write a happier song the characters could dance to - this one!

@buffyleigh psssh, any fever ray song is danceable if your body’s wobbly enough 😹 very interesting, though! will definitely check the film out once it’s out of theatres
