I feel so lucky to be able to live with non-human beings. There have been times when we couldn't and I really feel my life was poorer for it.

The little tabby cat just jumped on my lap, gave a little trill and rubbed my chin with her chin and I feel such a rush of warmth and connection between us 🥰

Pets. The absolute best.

@teadrinker Couldn't live without a cat. Current boy is not the brightest of cats, but quite affectionate. He does seem to think, however, that putting his bum in the staff's faces is a sign of affection, and no amount of training can change his mind. We still love him.🧡

@teadrinker up until recently, it wasn't legal to keep cats where we live. We still kept two (now down to one). It's nice to be able to do it legally.

@skribe It's quite nervewracking to keep pets illegally (have done this while renting various properties with a dog, a cat and rats before, always a challenge). I'm so glad you have your cats and that it's allowed now!
