I ran four BBSes simultaneously on one OS/2 Warp PC in the late 90s. I had four dedicated phone lines. I used one BBS to retrieve car and motorcycle racing messages from the US for Fidonet and then distributed them throughout Europe. And vice versa, European car and motorcycle racing messages were sent back to the States via me. It was a great time, but it quickly ended when everyone could use internet in the late 90s.
