Always money for war. Never money for actually helping people survive. This while literally everything gets more expensive and the economy only serves the rich. (Search “K shaped recovery.”)

I don't consider myself an extremist by any means, but there's no fixing this without drastic changes. We need to completely separate the working of government from moneyed interests. Make the only objective for any government program or project to be helping people (ALL people, even people you may not like). This includes helping protect them from the extractive and life-sucking essential nature of capitalism.

Our country has been hijacked by #oligarchs and if we don't take it back the military-industrial complex will bleed us dry for every penny we have simply to sell more bombs, consequences be damned.

And in this case the consequences are our planet and our lives.
