Tonight I read part of one of the chapters of the wandering in that I am woefully behind on. The difference was that I was reading it in multi line braille, something that I’ve never done on any device really. Connection to the dot pad was simple, but using their drawing app after you’ve connected to voiceover is really quite dumb. I also found that I really suck at drawing. But reading even on a small, relatively small that is, surface that is basically like half of a sheet of paper was much more useful than I thought it would be. It felt natural and it didn’t really hurt my elbow like reading on a single line display does. I might actually do it more, and the way that it refreshes things, even though it takes maybe a second to refresh the whole page, if you started the top left, you don’t miss anything at all. This is going to be revolutionary, and as the technology improves I hope that it becomes available in larger sizes and lower prices so that others can enjoy this amazing experience. Thanks to ATT guys for getting it to me quickly. Now I get to code support for it into my application.
