I HATE license bullshit, means I can't use this VST anymore, because it will stop me from having access to my music at some point (when their servers go down or whatever)

I've now added Variety of Sound: NastyDLAmkIII, and ValhallaFreqEcho, which both seem to be doing a similar job, for free, and without license bullshit (afaik)!
