@teamtoot Hello! Is there a restriction on/from mastodon.cloud at all? I’m trying to diagnose why I see toots from people I follow there, but I don’t see any images or avatars from them. Ta!

@aegir that server is overrun with bot spam and media we cannot host via federation, but due to the large number of human accounts we have not suspended the service. As you noticed, we do not process media files from that domain. The admin has not been seen in 3 years, and the server is very much out of date / unpatched running an unsupported version of Mastodon.

@teamtoot 3 years! Good grief. Well that tells me everything I need to know, thank you. I wasn’t sure if it was something I’d done, or problems with the app I’m using or what.
