@csilverman damn I love this one. The 1st look I thought that human character was chopping devil down, which was already intriguing image.. but no, more to come when I realised that s/he was painting the devil. Man creating own devil/god/hell, Foucault's works... so many thoughts and interpretations rising.

I often see these works as book covers, and with this I thought Bulgakov's Master and Margarita, Finnish title translated "Shaitan Arrives to Moskow"

@rikuylonen Yeah, I didn't have any specific example in mind, but people creating things that rapidly spiral beyond their control is a trope I've always found fascinating.

Especially when they either don't realize what they're doing, or think they have a good reason for doing it.
