Listening to @MapScaping Podcast on the the future of AI in GIS made me wonder how (if) AI is going to change #OpenStreetMap ?

The host and the guests in the podcast are overall very AI positive (even to the extent of feeding it personal medical records 🤨) but I can't help being slightly worried if it will eventually reduce the OSM community to simply serving as ‘proofreaders’ for a flood of AI-generated content (despite the Automated Edits code of conduct).

@mikill fear not, the very reason Overture Maps were founded was they wanted a place to dump AI generated data that OSM refused to accept wholesale
