Decided to try Dragon’s Dogma 2, and it’s so good and fun! Reminds me of Fable.
Thought I would not like the idea of mandatory companions, but the implementation is fantastic! They are so responsive to the environment and my actions, especially in battle, that you can’t imagine this game without them after some time.

The RPG I was looking for.
