reading about the proton debacle today.i use #proton email, i always emailed as if my emails would be leaked. however, is #tutanota any better?

@tootbrute @decryption it’s worth noting that any provider can be forced to turn over data in response to a valid order. Tuta is subject to German laws and courts and can also be forced to hand over metadata and unencrypted emails.

at least you know you will be compromised from that country, but no other country in the world would be able to get you. safe from the other 199 countries.
