Poutine and Fish and Chips
@dhry

Edit: place is called The Codfather

@Ronnie Funny, we used to have a place called The Codfather here as well, not too far from me: they closed down a couple of years ago. Wonder if it’s the same place/owner.

Weird poutine. You’re supposed to start with fries, then put the curds on TOP and then douse the lot in a gallon of hot beef gravy. Dunno what that place is playing at.

@dhry It was weird but it was fine. The fish and chips were amazing though.
@Ronnie Did they have “sausage rolls” on the menu and a shitty little section at the back done up like a British shop with things you could buy off the shelves like spotted dick and so on?
About Us | The Codfather

The Codfather
@dhry I went there because a Scottish co-worker of mine says it’s the best fish and chips he’s had outside of Britain.
@Ronnie High praise. Ask him if he’s ever tried an Irish spice box or spice bag. Thats my next fetish food that I need to somehow try or make
