@amigalove yes this is pre rendered, still back then to be able to decompress the anim and push the pixels to the screen was already a compicated problem. MPEG 1 standard was released in late 1992 and Hardware decoding for full screen video didn't arrive until the Phillips CDI around late 93 early 94 iirc.

@amigalove I don’t know about pre rendering. This is probably a blitter layer over a well constructed static background.
