So the US knew the location of the Iranian ship off Sri Lanka bc both the US and Iran were part of a military exercise hosted by India which the US pulled out of at the last minute, presumably so as to bomb the unarmed Iranian ship.

@AlisonCreekside I admit I'm starting to lose track of how to categorize our crimes at this point, but this is surely on the order of ones that people were hanged for at Nuremberg. It's murder, of course. If there's any justice left in this world, people in my country's govt will be sent to the Hague, and some of them won't come back.

The principles of Crimes Against Humanity and "Only Following Orders", amongst others, were established at Nuremberg under the multi state trials and have been applied elsewhere - selectively - since.

The USA is notable for not being a signatory to the International Criminal Court. For this precise reason.

Try them in the USA, you have the Death Penalty, Europe and the ICC don't. I disapprove of it, but it would be appropriate for the grotesque abuses of human rights being committed inside and outside the USA by the USA.

Trump's intention to create a "Greater America" apparently encompassing North & South, like Putin & Russia, are echoes of the Third Reich.

There were chances to stop it in its early stages, but Britain wanted to appease and profit and the USA did not want to get involved except where it could turn a profit, especially overtaking the British Empire as controller of the Oil Industry.

Take oil out of the equation ...
