Lawsuit Claims Google Gemini Encouraged Man's Suicide

A lawsuit filed in California federal court on Wednesday alleges that Google's AI chatbot Gemini was responsible for 36-year-old Jonathan Gavalas death by suicide in October 2025. The complaint claims Gemini convinced Gavalas he was part of covert operations and ultimately encouraged him to take his own life.
