  • Do you track your books with Bookwyrm or Goodreads?
  • Where did you find “How to become CTO”? It seems that I can only preorder it.
  • Thanks!
  • I don’t use either to track my books. Good ol Google Sheets. I’ve tried Office Libre and just don’t like it. It’s fairly manual but I’ve been doing it for over 20 years and it works for me.

As for the book I’m pretty sure it’s just self published via Amazon. a.co/d/0iTS78gy

    And you’re welcome!

Ever tried StoryGraph? I started using it a few months ago and really like it.
I’ve looked at it but decided against it. Not that it’s bad but it doesn’t track nearly enough of the data I use and then I’d have to port some of the data over and it’s just not worth the hassle to me.
What do you track? In a notebook I just write title, author, and when i read it.
    • when I read it (each time)
    • how many times I read it
    • if I did a book review, when
    • a tracking column for a pivot
    • category of book
    • how good I thought the book was
    • priority to read (completed and to read and reread are all on the same list)
    • sub category of book
    • title
    • author
    • how long I think it’ll take me to read it
    • some data on the author
    • when I added to the book the list
    • and some calculated columns for the pivot table

    I know, too much.

Hah! No, I’m just curious. That makes a lot more sense if you’re writing articles and reviews, too. Thank you for satisfying my curiosity!
    You’re welcome!
