chrismckee@wezm I wonder how much thermal constraints play into things like that. Distance between components, active cooling.
@chrismckee perhaps a little, but I don't think it's all that significant. The MacBook Air has a hotter M series SoC and no fan. Things I've read suggest it doesn't have a noteworthy cooling system and it seems to do fine.
