Today, Anthropic's CEO recognizes those dangers but they have multiplied with the power of AI, which is a danger until itself. We now have a government that openly seeks to use data agaist its own citizens and residents, and at least one major AI company is run by a sociopath who would jump at a chance to destroy the earth and then flee to Mars.
