Equal rights aren’t a favour – they are a requirement.

We have strengthened equal pay, promoted women on boards, and improved protections against violence.

Yet, persistent gaps remain in care, the gender pensions, and rising cyberviolence.

We’re stepping it up with a new Gender Equality Strategy 2026–2030, covering all areas of life, online and offline.

@EUCommission you should tell this to the zionists in Palestina, that they need to treat everyone equal. That would be fun!

@chantal @EUCommission

* This post is about gender equality. *

@govinda_hari @EUCommission equality is equality. There is no equality when not all people are treated equal.
@chantal @govinda_hari @EUCommission
You're absolutely right about that! It seems like there's always some kind of division.
@EUCommission You should tell to Orban. The Hungarian criminal that wants the EU money taking orders from Putin.
@EUCommission EU is great at creating captivating mottos and shiny diagrams about initiatives that are never followed by the patchwork of nations.
I think that the only common point of every partecipant is the circular economy of money involved in building up and maintain the EU commission itself.
While this is a very critical voice, my primary objective is to be disproved in each and every of my claims: I'm happy every time I'm wrong.

@EUCommission

There is another reason too: because we are all equal.

That's a great reason, actually! Thanks for bringing it up, @dianea! 💜
@EUCommission Very nice figure - first I was confused, but then it made sense :)
Thanks for letting us know you liked it, @ligasser! We'll pass the note on to our graphic designers. 💜
@EUCommission The EU’s obsession with gender equality strategies while Europe burns is peak bureaucratic delusion. Who cares about ‘closing pension gaps’ when our industries are getting crushed by the US and China, our energy policies are driving businesses into the ground, and our ‘digital sovereignty’ is a joke? Priorities, people.
If Brussels spent half the energy on fixing the economy or defending its borders as it does on virtue-signaling campaigns, maybe we wouldn’t be laughingstocks.
But sure, let’s keep pretending that another 5-year plan for ‘equality’ will save us. Meanwhile, the 30% who think this is about ‘because we’re all equal’ can keep clapping while the continent collapses
@EUCommission YES! Absolutely support that!
SO REMOVE ANY GENDER IDENTIFICATION FROM LAWS!
@EUCommission can we say that human rights are equally respected in Hungary? I would like to see consequences if Hungary does not adhere to the EU standards in human rights and press freedoms
