The War of Perspective: Family_Portrait
This work captures the difficulty of painting my daughter and nephew. While one face flowed smoothly, the other became a battlefield. The high angle of the camera distorted the depth, elongating the forehead, and then I made a mistake and drew the nose too wide, forcing me into an obsessive cycle of corrections. It lays bare the struggle of the digital brush with anatomy: a psychological war against geometry to correct a nose, a chin, a perspective and personal lost. A raw look at the mania that hides behind a family portrait. Maybe one day I'll publish the timelapse of this artistic and personal war
