🇮🇷💥⚓ 𝗜𝗥𝗚𝗖 𝗨𝗦𝗩 𝗦𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗸𝗲𝘀 𝗖𝗿𝘂𝗱𝗲 𝗧𝗮𝗻𝗸𝗲𝗿 𝗶𝗻 𝗡𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗻 𝗣𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝗮𝗻 𝗚𝘂𝗹𝗳
An IRGC unmanned surface vessel struck the Bahamas-flagged crude tanker Sonangol Namibe at approximately 01:20 local on 5 March, while anchored roughly 45 nautical miles east of Kuwait City.

The vessel is registered to Sonangol Shipping Namibe Ltd, a subsidiary of Angola's state-owned oil company, Sonangol E.P.

The explosion breached a ballast tank.
