In today's input sanitisation news, I may have discovered an ancient pile of rubbish that took user input, say "FRED", typed F-E-R-D-backspace-backspace-backspace-R-E-D and created directories with names ten characters long, yessiree, we've got embedded backspaces, carriage returns, linefeeds in our directories and filenames.
