You can spend all the money in the world to make shit, but people will not use it because it's shit.

They use it because it fills a need that the alternative does not.

Firefox was the weakest link, because it became shit, which is why it no longer is a mainstream browser.

If you cannot compete, you cannot be. Stop making excuses.

People demand a free and open market, and then complain when that free and open market does exactly what a free and open market is meant to do.

No one put a gun to your head and forced you to use the software you use. You use the software you use because if fills a need you want or need. There is likely alternatives, but whatever you're using right now, works best for you, for now.

The people did not choose Firefox, because Firefox was not the best there was. It did not fit people's wants or needs.

@NetscapeNavigator yes and no.

As for the rest, it's lazyness, #TechIlliteracy and/or #inaccessinility of alternatives stopping them!

@kkarhan

Outside of work people are free to choose whatever they want.

People picked Chromium and it is a Chromium world, after all, because that is what people picked.

@NetscapeNavigator well, I chose @torproject / #TorBrowser because #privacy is not negotiable
