Took a minute away from stitching towels to put a frog on my denim jacket. Much harder on my fingers but worth it.
@NorcalGma2 bravo! I wonder if I could do something similar on my flannel jacket, it has a pattern so maybe a patch would work better. Thoughts?
@secretsloth
I am going to applique a hand sporting a peace sign. I plan to do a mix. I am sewing by hand which is more of a chore than I remembered.
@NorcalGma2 yeah. I can't really do embroidery anymore (yet?) since I fell from my wheelchair some months ago and managed to entrap both my elbow nerves. My dominant hand index finger and thumb get very sore and numb very quickly now, so lack the dexterity. PT has been helping but have been too ill to go for some time. Hoping this latest round of steroids perks me up. But I could find a patch on Etsy or attempt to use my sewing machine. Maybe a pin? 🤔 that could work.
@secretsloth
I bet there are lots of patches out there.
I am lucky so far that my arthritis doesn't seem to affect my ability to embroider.
Sending healing vibes.
@secretsloth @NorcalGma2 😬 I hope you fully recover soon. 🙏
@Heartofcoyote @NorcalGma2 thanks to you both 💜 I am going to be on a crafting BINGE as soon as I am able to lol. So many projects have built up in my mental queue! I am subsisting on watching other folks' projects come along. I have been healing, the PT is doing wonders and a lot of the motions I can do even when unwell. So with any luck I should be back to it after some strengthening. 🥰 note to the file: don't land on elbows, they are poorly structured for this 😅
@secretsloth @Heartofcoyote
I am looking forward to seeing your projects!
Hoping for your continued forward progress in healing.
Take good care.

@NorcalGma2 update, found a frog paaaaaaaatch. Machine embroidered, probably not handmade, but it'll do!! :D hooray!
