Modern stone circle in a garden near Matakana, NZ. The small outlier signs with a prominent local hill (probably with sacred significance) and marks the midwinter sunrise on 21 June. The current owner inherited it when he bought the house, but didn't know much about it. He kindly let me investigate it. #StandingStones #Megalithic
