Had a wonderful meeting with @scooter this week about ways that we can work together to promote the Fediverse to people in the Baltimore area. It was amazing to meet with another Baltimore local who shares a desire to see people move off corporate social media and towards a community based model. Even better that we come from two different social spheres!

I'm looking forward to finding more ways to collaborate!

@thathackergirl I'm considering three courses that we can teach to the "not tech people": The Fediverse (and why you need it); Data Privacy (and why you need it); AI and LLMs (and why you *don't* need it).

If we can keep these to an hour each, we've got something.

Even some of the most tuned-in people I know who are 💯 against the regime haven't really considered how refusing to pay-or-play the billionaires ends up affecting the fascistae. #TeachIn #resistance #NotTechPeople
