Question @gruber How many Nexties remain at Apple in leadership roles? On the Apple Leadership webpage only Federighi, right? Any VPs we might know?

All the talk of the lifelong Apple folks like Cue and Schiller got me thinking the Empire struck back and original Apple outlasted the Nexties.

@alcatholic Not in senior leadership. But I'm aware of engineers and engineering managers who were at NeXT.

@gruber Sounds pretty bare. Seems the “reverse takeover” lasted only so long

I wonder if those engineers merged into new product development or stayed in some of their NeXT technologies (Darwin, Cocoa, if those qualify as such, et al)
