The first 12 episodes or so are well done monster of the week sci fi… Then buckle the fuck up! The world building, performances and storyline represents my favorite sci-fi show of all time

Btw, Dollhouse is a similar vibe and similar quality, but much less grand in its execution.

Yeah, I’ve always said that Fringe actually fakes you out thinking it is an X-Files-like while leaving hints at the upcoming craziness which then happens around the end of S1 and then goes off the rails crazy cool. I am sure it isn’t for everyone, but it is quite literally my favorite show.
