One day apart. Australia would be more resilient and self sufficient if the government had facilitated the uptake of electric vehicles better. #Bega #electricVehicles #resilience #MiddleEast

@vivianharris45 I was a little puzzled as to what your point was, then I realised you don't live in Brisbane, where 20-30c/litre price rises from one day to the next are 'a normal part of the weekly discounting cycle' (according to the owners of the servos - and not at all profit-gouging before every weekend).

Unleaded 98 is 239.9 at the servo around the corner right now. It was 245.9 yesterday, and petrolspy tells me it's up to 246.9 at servos in my area today.

Unleaded 91 is 219.9, but was ~160-170 a few weeks ago.

Bloody thankful I drive a plug-in hybrid, I put in about one tank of fuel every 3,000km of driving (and that only because I do occasional long trips).

@vivianharris45

That fuel reserve the Morrison government bought and stored off shore, we can draw on that to keep prices down.

Right?

Right?

Oh🤨

Nice work Angus.

@vivianharris45 100%
Norway is becoming immune to the affects of the oil issues because they are constantly over 95% of new car sales being EV, and I think over 50% of all cars on the road being electrified.
With vast capability for renewables here in AU, we need to wean off oil as a resilience and security priority.
