My work functions as a sequential archive that recontextualizes the Vogel legacy through a dystopian, high-chroma lens. By centering Erika Amerika in a landscape of structural decay, I am interrogating the liminality of the American mythos while utilizing a visual vernacular that bridges the gap between the underground comix of my mentors and the formal logic of contemporary manga.
