Which is mostly just a bit clueless but which also assembled some of the most vile people on the planet for a bunch of scientists and activists to put there name next to.

If your tent is big enough for fascists, it's no longer a tent but a concentration camp in the making.

@tante I'm tempted to argue that getting respectable folks to put their names next to fascists is actually the point of declarations like this. Put out a statement you know people are eager to endorse in order to smuggle demagogues into the conversation. If that's the trick, then it's discouraging how often it works with this group.
