@openproject at the top of the page on installation documentation it reads:
"We will not build packages for new Linux versions, such as Ubuntu 24.04. We will, however, keep releasing new package versions for the currently supported Linux versions until their EOL (end of life)."
Is the Linux version being deprecated?
The package installation is slowly being deprecated. We should make that clear in our docs.
It's just a lot of extra effort maintaining the packages for the various past, present, and future (versions of the) distributions, and the docs relating to that as well.
We now recommend the docker-based installation instead.
