@ben @ceejbot A motorcycle requires skill to drive but it has its own engine. A non-assistive bicycle, you provide both skill and motive force.

I mean, yeah I know motorcycle piloting takes stamina and strength beyond a car, but for me the bicycle is a more effective metaphor.

@thatdawnperson @ben I love the bicycle metaphor so much. You have to provide the motive power, but the gears amplify it. You have to choose a direction! Intention and drive still come from the human; the tool is still only a tool no matter how much mythic power we ascribe to it.
