@massivelyop content drives me to (or from) an MMO more than outside weather. That said, winters are not really tough and/or long where I live (we seldom have snow and tusk ally deal with coldish rain with or without some wind) so we are not confined inside for most of the season (even if it's not pleasant to go out)
