about halfway through watching Digimon beatbreak. It's very very good! It's taken me a while to get to it. Digimon is quite special to me, but that also overflows into the bad feelings sometimes due to my own interpretations of the series as a whole.

I feel digimon's underlying message is melancholy. bittersweet. 'These are your best friends now, and one day they'll be gone.' That's my take on Digimon.

and breakbeat continues these themes through the concept of 'found family'.

I have to admit, alot of the time I am suppressing tears while watching lol. I miss what I once felt was a found family.

but holy tiamat, the colours, animation, and music is the best it's been since tamers. And I am in disbelief that no one informed me that one of the main characters is a female coded wolf girl with robotic arms????? we've not had that treatment since renamon?????

the opening scene blew me the fuck away. gonna finish it soon.
