I wasn’t trying to specifically maximize the value of the JR West all area pass but I have to say it’s a damn good deal for the week we have planned in the area it works in. It’ll cover our train rides from Hakata to Osaka, Osaka to Onomichi, and from Okayama all the way to Kanazawa after we do the #ShimanamiKaido. Not bad for 26000¥ per person! #日本FieldTrip
