🇫🇷 Je l'avais promis hier, voici donc les six vitraux collatéraux de l'église de Waha que l'on doit à Jean-Michel Folon et qui relatent les étapes de la vie d'Etienne, le premier martyr chrétien (son martyre est relaté dans les Actes des Apôtres au chapitre 6).
Le premier vitrail représente Etienne allaité par une biche blanche.
Le second relate l'épisode de l'interrogatoire par les rabbins et la condamnation à la lapidation.
Le troisième raconte le secours venant du ciel : un ange et une colombe.
The stained glasses of Waha (1/2)
🇬🇧 I promised it yesterday, here are the six collateral stained glass windows of the church of Waha designed by Jean-Michel Folon and which relate the life of Stephen, the first Christian martyr (his martyrdom is recounted in the Acts of the Apostles in chapter 6).
The first stained glass window represents Stephen breastfed by a white doe.
The second relates the episode of the interrogation by the rabbis and the sentence of stoning.
The third tells about the help coming from heaven: an angel and a dove.
