Strong industry. Strong jobs. Strong Europe.

We’ve presented the Industrial Accelerator Act to boost demand for low-carbon technologies and products made in Europe.

Our goal: increase manufacturing to 20% of EU GDP by 2035.

The Act will:
🔷Support lead markets for Made in EU and low-carbon products
🔷Ensure that foreign direct investments bring value
🔷Simplify permitting procedures
🔷Boost sustainable manufacturing

Turning climate ambition into industrial growth.

@EUCommission Those are some pretty big chimneys for a low-carbon factory 😁
@yngmar @EUCommission it's for shooting rainbows 🌈
Hi @montyontherun @yngmar! 🌈 Thanks for your feedback on our design. We've passed it on to our graphic designers. 😊
@EUCommission So that must mean “AI” “factories” are banned, then?
@EUCommission Impressive factory mr. Commission! Can you spend two words on the ongoing global events?

@EUCommission next project for your “built in EU”.

Fund a smartphone operating system so we don’t have to buy Apple og something vaguely Google.
Fund a PC operating system and move the entire EU apparatus to that operating system.

I bet the license fees to Microslop are enormous.

@EUCommission This is the worst image of a blueprint I have ever seen. Is the mentioned act of similar quality as this AI slop?
@EUCommission
I would very much like to see the EU ban toxic substances, whether they are used in products and production within or outside Europe. However, given the legislation on plastics, PFAS and 'crop protection products' (in other words, pesticides), I am not very optimistic...
@EUCommission
