Finally removed #IPv6 #AAAA for my mail server so #Thunderbird uses IPv4 only. This IPv6 problem of Thunderbird really kills me.

Even I can access Sogo/Dovecot aso. from the same Workstation at the same time Thunderbird access it, Thunderbird hangs or is brutal slow.

In this case it is LAN to DMZ local without Internet, routed through pfSense. So no Internet, Routing, Tunnel, MTU or other stuff involved.

@kmj If it is LAN to DMZ, is the proper allow rule including connection tracking in place. My experience with IPv6 and xSense was so far always mediocre.

@goetz As mentioned some time ago. It mostly hangs on "copy to sent folder" and sometimes bigger mails.

Not always, but sometimes. Rules and routing are correct. also sogo web works fine.

I testet a lot of things, but the only problem i have here is Thunderbird.
