I may be the most ardent fan of (and apologist for) "WATCHMEN" (Zach Snyder, 2009) that you'll encounter this evening. And YET.
I used to buy copies of the graphic novel in bulk and give them to people as a thoughtful thank you gift.
That's a true story.

Hmm, actually, I didn’t.
I would occasionally recommend the purchase of it, though.
It was kinda special.
@hotdogsladies I still remember the trip I took to NYC to record our submission for SIGGRAPH 1987, where I had to stay awake for 20+ hrs loading our data tapes to record our piece at a post house there, and the late night tech artist who explained Watchmen and dark Knight to me.
